🐉 HydraChain Video Content DAO Proposal

1. Summary

This proposal requests DAO funding to launch and sustain a weekly cinematic video series showcasing the core strengths and innovations of HydraChain. Each video will leverage AI-enhanced production, cinematic storytelling, and strategic platform optimization (shorts for Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X).

The content will be created by a committed community contributor with a track record of effective campaigns — in close collaboration with the HydraChain community. All media will be refined based on community feedback and released in phases. A dedicated $2,000/month marketing budget, managed by the DAO, will ensure consistent and impactful promotion.

2. Motivation

🎬 Previous Contributions

Over the past few months, I’ve contributed multiple creative pieces to the HydraChain ecosystem, including:

🎞️ Watch the voting video

These pieces were created independently and shared freely to elevate HydraChain’s presence. This proposal aims to turn that momentum into a structured, DAO-supported initiative.

Building on those contributions, I’ve spent the past three weeks pushing even further with AI production tools — crafting polished visuals, dynamic animations, voiceovers, and editing workflows that replicate high-end studio output.

Behind each video are 20+ hours of focused iteration — testing, failing, refining. As I gain more experience and as AI tools continue to evolve, both the quality and quantity of content will scale naturally.

This isn't just content — it’s the beginning of a lasting brand identity for HydraChain across all platforms.

3. Objectives

  • ✅ 1 high-quality cinematic video (~1 min) every week
  • ✅ 4–6 short-form clips per month for Instagram / YouTube Shorts / X
  • ✅ Consistent style, voice, and visual identity for HydraChain
  • ✅ Community-led direction — ideas, drafts, and teaser reviews shared publicly
  • ✅ Extra visual content (memes, renders, GIFs) sourced from unused footage

4. Tools & Commitment

Production relies on paid commercial tools: Sora, Leonardo AI, ElevenLabs, CapCut Pro, voice libraries, and more. These licenses cost $300–$500/month, which I will cover myself.

  • ✅ No tool costs will be charged to the DAO
  • ✅ Commercial licenses will be handled to ensure legal use

5. Feedback & Community Involvement

Each episode will be previewed with teaser clips. Feedback from the DAO and HydraChain supporters will influence final edits. I will remain responsive and collaborative.

💬 "One hand can’t clap — together, we give HydraChain its voice."

6. Monthly Deliverables

  • 📽️ 4 long-form cinematic videos (1 per week)
  • 📱 4–6 short-form promotional clips (10–15s each)
  • 📦 Unused media made public for community memes/spinoffs
  • 🤝 Teaser cuts for every episode shared in advance
  • 📣 Social media channel management (YouTube, X, IG) — for free

🛡️ All content will be DAO-owned, allowing reuse and adaptation.

7. Budget Request

🔸 Monthly Content Production

  • 4 main cinematic videos: $1,200–$2,000
  • 4–6 shorts: $400–$600 ($100 per short)

➡️ Total: $1,600–$2,600/month (Paid only after final delivery)

🔸 Monthly Marketing Budget (Managed by DAO)

  • $2,000/month strictly for paid promotion (YouTube ads, IG boosts, X campaigns)
  • Managed by the DAO team with my operational support
  • The entire marketing budget will be used — not parked — ensuring real traction and growth

8. Milestones

WeekDeliverables
Week 1Episode 1 + 1–2 shorts
Week 2Episode 2 + 1–2 shorts
Week 3Episode 3 + 1–2 shorts
Week 4Episode 4 + 1–2 shorts + community review

📊 After Month 1: DAO feedback and analytics review — decide on next phase

9. Success Metrics

  • 📈 Social media engagement (views, comments, shares)
  • 🤝 Community collaboration in feedback and idea stages
  • 🎯 Awareness and perception shift for HydraChain
  • 🌱 Foundation to onboard users, devs, and partners

10. Looking Ahead

If this pilot works, a second proposal will be launched to:

  • Cover Web3 news, updates, and innovation weekly
  • Position HydraChain in global blockchain narratives
  • Develop HydraChain’s media voice as an educational and cultural hub

11. Closing Statement

This isn’t just a video project. It’s the start of a media identity — the first layer of HydraChain’s digital presence.

I’ve already laid the foundation. With your support, we’ll amplify it.
Let’s give HydraChain a powerful, cinematic voice that speaks to the world.

Vote to make it real.

Good proposal. Lets do it

Video contents, specially short ones, are great to get other people’s attention. Nowadays they are one of the preferred media used by marketing agencies to effectively get to modern societies members.
If we can have a common element between all videos, they could create a consistent narrative that will add value to Hydra chain and make it more attractive to new investors.

That’s one of the main reasons I support this proposal, and why I think it would work.

Another reason would be the commitment that our fellow member Moath has shown for quite some time now, which gives us some guarantees that he’s going to try his best for this project to succeed.

Hmm not worth 500 usd a work for AI generated vids. 20 usd a week then sure… i confess i didnt read the whole proposal …im just basing my opinion on the vid i saw…and whats the point if the main viewers will be us who already know about hydra. If maybe you had a lot of followers then sure…unless you agree to only get paid the 500 usd if a certain threshould is viewers is reached…

man , each video takes around 24 hours of making and editing , calculate that on how much per working hours ,if you can find someone who can do that for 20 USD i will hire him

i appreciate your reply.

I like this proposal.
I do think that a human doing the videos would be better than AI. I personally never watch an AI video, I like the human, even when trying to figure out how to change a part on my car.
In fact, when I need to find a video about changing a car part I will stop watching an annoying person and find another video of someone more entertaining.
Also it would be good to come up with a story line or something that people can relate to that is not just numbers and technical mambo jumbo. For example the gecko that Geico car insurance has, and the story in their advertisements usually focus on the cute little creature talking and doing stuff rather than boring mathematics of car insurance.
We could easily have a little cute Hydra baby dragon doing stuff.
But yes I do like the idea. I do like having someone dedicate to this. And I would agree on the amount proposed to spend on this.

good feedback , will have thoughts about this :folded_hands:

I support the incentive, just thinking it would be better to start slower, like cutting the budget and the output half and check out how it will go. But still depends when it would be launched

after working 1 month now on different styles and ideas , the budget is too low compared to the efforts it needs ,and its not feasible to have a limited number of videos as until we get the proper audience we need at least 4 videos in the channel .

this will be an experiment for about 3 months ,we will see how well it goes and if we need more or we need less or to continue or discontinue .

In the end i have made this initiative for the benefit for HYDRA and that what matters in the end .

Well you have my support. I think you’re doing a great thing here. Again, I’d prefer not AI but a real human but at least AI is something.
