Let’s Build a Viral Telegram Game on Hydra

Looking for Co-Founders: Let’s Build a Viral Telegram Game on Hydra

Hi everyone,

I’ve been thinking a lot about one question:

What would it take to get thousands—or even millions—of people using Hydra without them needing to understand blockchain?

I don’t think the answer is another DeFi app.

I think it’s a fun, social game that people naturally share with their friends.

I have an idea that I’d love to explore with a small team of builders who enjoy creating products from scratch.

The idea

Imagine opening a Telegram Mini App with a single tap.

No downloads.

No complicated setup.

No crypto knowledge required.

You simply choose your nation and instantly become part of a global team.

Every player contributes to the same goal.

Every day you receive new troops and resources.

Every day your nation makes strategic decisions together.

Should we defend?

Should we build?

Should we attack?

The entire country votes, and the decision becomes reality. Think of playing Risk, but together with a team.

Why it could be fun

This isn’t about individual high scores.

It’s about thousands of players working together.

You don’t win alone.

Your country/team wins together.

Invite your friends.

Strengthen your nation.

Watch the world map change in real time online.

At the end of every 30-day season, one nation becomes the champion.

Then everything resets and a new season begins.

Every season tells a new story.

Core gameplay

  • Join any country.

  • Receive daily troops and resources.

  • Vote on your nation’s strategy.

  • Build, defend or launch attacks.

  • Form alliances.

  • Watch territories change on a live world map.

  • Invite friends to strengthen your nation.

  • Compete in 30-day seasons.

  • Earn a seasonal reward if your nation wins.

Simple enough to understand in under a minute.

Deep enough to keep coming back every day.

Why Telegram?

The goal is almost zero friction.

Open.

Tap.

Play.

Share.

That’s it.

No app installation.

No complicated onboarding.

Just send a link to a friend.

It works the same with 100 players and 100.000 players.

Why Hydra?

Every meaningful action in the game can become an on-chain event.

Daily claims.

Votes.

Battles.

Season results.

Rewards.

The blockchain becomes part of the game without getting in the player’s way.

If we succeed, we could create one of the first Telegram-native games that brings real daily activity to Hydra while introducing thousands of new users in a natural way.

Who I’m looking for

I’m not looking for freelancers.

I’m looking for people who genuinely want to build something together.

Especially if you’re interested in:

  • Product thinking

  • Game design

  • Telegram Mini Apps

  • UI/UX

  • Full-stack development

  • Hydra ecosystem

  • Community building

  • Growth and viral mechanics

I see myself contributing with the product vision, gameplay ideas, strategy, community and growth.

I’d love to find one or two technical co-founders who want to shape this together from day one.

If this sounds exciting to you, let’s talk.

P.S. Don’t quit your day job :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: This is an unpaid passion project—for now. If we build something great, we’ll figure out the rest together.

This idea is spot on, love it. There are legal boundaries though especially considering where the game is hosted, ownership, international llc compared to native llc laws, wallet injection, handling money in any form is decided by the laws of the owner’s country. For instance OFAC laws are killer in crypto and highly montored by IRS/SEC im my USA country. There are 3rd party payment systems that would handle it and navigating problems into solutions are fun to me.

You didnt specify any of this and im just offering my 2 cents to hr convo. I am a “evidently diamond holder of $HYDRA at this point”, but i wanted to lay some legal down that i have found as good info. This can all be solved and expanded upon as well. I love talking about a $Hydra revival thru any project and definitely can be and would like to be part of the discussion whether money is an objective or not. I love the marketing and exposure we really need and that is priceless for this ecosystem as we get ready for the rebirth;)

Thanks for commenting LegitMarine!

Your points on the legal aspects are valid, and if we decide to go that route, we definately need a plan for that. on top of that there’s also the case with Telegram not allowing any other network directly connected.

I think that both of these can be solved if there is a game working on Telegram, so the first step would be to validate if the game will attract players.

So, step 1 is designing the game and building the MVP and launching on TG, without any connection to Hydra or payments, just a fun game to see if it works. And for that we only need a developer to get started.
