1. Background
Hydra Chain has long had a core group of loyal supporters who have been responsible for the majority of community-led Twitter/X activity. However, the expansion of activities beyond this core group and the growth of the community have presented difficulties. Various efforts have been made to surmount these difficulties, such as airdrops, paid marketing, tweet-sharing groups; however, they have not resulted in sustained social media activity and community growth.
Perhaps the main reason for the lack in community growth is the disbelief of community members that their social media (X) activity will make an impact, and it is therefore often considered a waste of time. This has resulted in sporadic X activity, which has not been sufficient to make a difference. This project aims to change that.
2. Summary / Goal
Given the provisional name of “X Awareness Booster”, this project will consist of an addition to the existing Hydra Telegram community bot “Hanna Hydra”, that will boost growth in the awareness of Hydra Chain on X through incentivised participation via personalised communication and regular user encouragement.
Participants will communicate with Hanna via DM, receiving personalised feedback and encouragement that is expected to boost motivation, and therefore X activity.
Core Concept: By maximising the ease and enjoyment of participation, the use of this tool will lead to the realisation that the community can make an impact together.
Expected Results: Sustained social media activity, leading to growth of the community and interest in Hydra Chain.
3. Description of Functionality
- Any community member can commence a DM (private chat) with Hanna and access the X Awareness Boost menu.

-
Once the community member verifies their X account, they can submit posts (tweets). The posts are then shown to a list of moderators for verification (basic check to ensure content is Hydra-related and accurate).
-
Once a post is approved, the link is distributed to the entire network as a message from Hanna (only to those who have opted to participate in the X Awareness Booster).

- Other participants then engage with the post on X, e.g. by liking and reposting it. Once they have engaged with the post, they click the button corresponding to the engagement type for that post.

-
All post submissions and engagements are registered, and points are awarded for each.
-
Participants are incentivised to participate through personalised encouragement from Hanna, bonus point campaigns (raids), and the display of leaderboards and other interesting statistics via both DM and the main Hydra Telegram group.
-
To ensure there is no abuse (cheating), post submitters will be occasionally requested to verify that a certain participant has engaged with their post as reported. Points are also awarded for this verification.
-
To get an idea of the expected ease of use, user interface etc., please refer to Hanna Hydra’s current menu and functions.

4. How Will This Tool Differ from Existing Solutions?
At first glance this tool may seem similar to existing solutions, such as raid bots. However, there are key differences:
-
Raid bots are simple tools that operate primarily in Telegram group chats, calling for members to engage with social media posts. While this tool will also be active within the main Hydra Telegram group and offer raid functionality, its key differentiating factor and strength is that it will also provide incentivised participation via personalised communication and regular user encouragement through DMs with each individual user.
-
Raid bots are effective in large, motivated communities. Currently Hydra lacks this. This tool will be designed to address community motivation in particular, leading to sustained X activity and community growth
-
Existing solutions often require users to allow the tool to control their X account. There will be no such requirement for this tool.
-
This tool will be custom built specifically for the Hydra community, with active testing and feedback involving those who wish to participate.
