I do think emphasizing the higher than industry standard staking rewards and the accomplishments thus far are more effective in bringing new blood imo. Also, I would steer clear of any wording like, “If you invest $1k now, you will provably see that turn to $10k over the next two years”. That to me sounds like grounds for it to be ruled as a security my friend!
I think we also need better X accounts/influencers. Not these useless bot accounts like cryptogemsguru.
From my experience it will be better to work with @opcryptoUK , @TheGemHunters, @SHaMaN_TGH, @blackbeardXBT, @tehMoonwalkeR, @JakeGagain
At least these accounts bring real potential investors/traders not only bots.
Checked those accounts used now, and indeed mostly bots…Better spend more on 1 or 2 accounts with quality, instead on lot of low quality bot accounts.
do we have information how many users of these hyped accoutns are bots? half or more?
I looked at the post from @CrypticWeb3 and every reply other than a community member is a bot of theirs, with the word cryptic somewhere in the name and the same symbol… What a waste. I know I’m coming late but where did we find these marketing firms? Were they vetted even a little prior to being picked or did they just pop up in the telegram? Or do we think this is just one bad KOL in the bunch? Have we seen anymore posts from the marketing and how will we tell which firm each is from in the end for voting?
Yeah maybe we are wasting our money if they are just bots. Definitely not worth how much we have allocated to pay them.
Social media marketing has started. From what I see, untill now, is there are a few Twitter accounts that promoted HydraChain. Last one is from 5th of august. Now it looks more like throwing arrows in the dark at mostly bots. According to the agencies there should also be some press releases. I have not see those releases (yet) but maybe that’s being worked on as we speak. I did some research on blockchain marketing and regarding to this, the marketing that we experiecing (untill now) is not sattisfying to me at this stage. Overall I think the marketing should be more structured with a designed marketing strategy and marketing goals. What is our marketing strategie ?
An example of marketing strategie could be:
-
know your target costumer
-
research competitors ( this is already known)
competitors are a great source of the best practices and mistakes to avoid. -
create marketing goals
a detailed realistic goal that is measurable.
for example: from “This month getting more investors” → to “get 1000 new investors this month” -
select marketing channels :
email / blogs / social media / Google Ads.
note : people with finances and knowledge prefer Twitter, Reddit, and Medium. -
engage customers with creative ideas :
referral programs / influencer marketing / affiliate marketing / bounty campain / video’s
But it is not only the marketing. All the information, which we are marketing, and all the developments should be easely en central available for all/new investors on the main infomation gate. That main gate should be our website and it is not up to date at this point. Hopefully I’m not to salty but what I’m experiencing right now and after some basic research is that the current marketing is and can not be effective, I think we are not ready for any marketing at this stage. To summerize the steps.
- Website up to date
- Create an effective marketing strategie
- Planning the marketing strategie
- Launch of the marketing campain
- Tracking results from marketing campain
Sharing my thoughts here. Marketing is a complex industrie and it is not easy to get good and effective results from a marketing campain. I also think the quality of the result is more important than the quantity. Mayby we should also take in consideration to expand the team with a marketing specialist in te near future, just like ChangeX has.
Those are all our team members.
As a DAO member you may conduct your due diligence beginning from our website: crypticweb3.com
From the example ive seen on the new twitter ads, i would suggest a more confident and hyperbolic narrative regarding the release of hydragon. The current ad felt way to uneventful and using screenshots which didnt feel like a top tier project.
So id suggest something along these lines (but i hope someone can come up with a better wording than me):
Introducing Hydragon, likely new contender for the top 100 chains.
Built upon blazing fast polygon engine with the principles from Hydrachain.
Prometheus Infinite scalability solution.
Groundbreaking network stability & security solution → nakamoto coefficient node algorithm.
Unique leveraged staking formula promoting sustainable value growth.
Preferred by developers - earns half of fees generated.
Fully EVM compatible for seamless development.
Unique protocol level instant lending on your Hydra assets.
Operational DAO for strategic scaling.
Operational DEX will share combined liquidity over all Etherum bridges.
Team with over 10 years in crypto development.
In short an S tier chain in the pipeline currently trading at microcap valuation.
All current hydra will be convertible 1:1 to the new chain.
Its mostly bots and this has 0 effect…Happy with marketing, but this is not the way it looks now. As we all voted yes for these agencies. I will now vote to stop this already. And look for other ways. Even spending it on a youtuber would be better now.
It is my observation that people can talk all they want here, but that is as far as is seems to go. What do we need to do to stop the waste of marketing funds on the selected companies? Are we forced to let them run their full campaigns and vote at the end, or can we ask for a review of what each company has done to this point and deem if it is indeed effective or not before paying for further marketing from them?
@FloSupp I assume the team is looking at the first results of the marketing campaign ? What is your opinion, and should we continue with the Twitter campaign ? I have not seen any article what the other agency was supposed to do. But do you share our concern that it is mostly bots that create the likes and replies ?
Don’t stress everyone, after a month we will get reports from each agency and then we will vote on which ones to continue and which we abort. The initial vote was just for the first month and we decide month by month so that we do not waste funds. Excited to see them all compete with each other to do the best marketing that they can.
The thing is, if you do a twitter campaign but 99% are bots, then you might as well stop asap…
and I believe it’s only Cryptic that has begun with twitter KOL’s. @leocryptic would it be possible to include a couple of KOL’s that do not have the “DM me for promotion” in their Bio’s and maybe have a more natural progression language in their tweets so that it looks realistic rather than a pre written copy. I believe it would have a more profound effect that way
Yes we do but they’re the more expensive ones. We have to work within the budget. Some of them charge 15k per one tweet so as a marketing company it is our responsibility to provide you most value for money
I presume no one here was watching the charts when our campaign began. It was a 3 day campaign and their was positive volume for all 3 days.
I understand how you think marketing works and its not a magic wand tbf.
For the second part of our campaign towards the EOM we will create a more comprehensive plan within the budget ofcourse where the devs have a better opportunity of presenting Hydra Chain to alot of potential new investors
Our job is to provide you the best value for money and we will keep doing that. I’d love to answer any specific questions from the community if any. Thank you
Thanks for sharing Leo, and of course I understand that marketing anything (leave alone crypto) is not a quick fix affair. The community at this time has seen the first responders, and as we all know that first responders are always Bots
Looking forward to see your second part of the plan. I’d request for the copy used to be more fluid or natural if that makes sense and / or may generate more appealing conversations. Also if the copy used by each are different and spread across dates so that it looks less “planned” if you know what I mean
Thank you for the feedback
According to our understanding Hydra Chain did not have much of a print on twitter so we had to in the beginning push out Hydra Chain and let as many people know about this project.
Right after we began our campaign there were decent buys on the chart which is positive. As for the copy we wanted to use a super short text however it was difficult to cramp it down since Hydra Chain has such imp utilities that had to be pushed out there as an introductory post.
Hey Leocryptic,
I appreciate you staying in close contact and answering questions! I do see where you are coming from and also know that bringing Hydra into the awareness of the masses isn’t something that will happen overnight. Your words about staying within budget also make sense.
I think the main concern from the community is that while the accounts may have many followers, we are unable to confirm how many are actually organic active accounts that are not internally related to your team like the accounts I showed in the screenshot above. If the followers that the marketing is being pushed out to are not active or organic real people, then we are throwing money into an echo-chamber of sorts where only bots and your team members see the marketing that is being posted and no actual new eyes see the project.
Could you please if possible post a link to the post(s) sent out in the first 3 day campaign you spoke of so we as a community can analyze, as well as support, the post(s) in question? Also, in the future maybe posting them here as they are released so the community can get their networks behind it as well and help get more exposure. I feel like that way would have more impact possibly.
