Vote on the Marketing Budget - September/October 24

The DAO along with our partner marketing agency which was chosen by the community, has completed yet another period of marketing activities. This effort has been helping with Hydra Chain’s awareness among the core and new crypto population, along with the DAO saving part of the marketing budget for later use during the launch of HydraGon.

As the previous working period has ended, it is your turn to vote and re-allocate the budget between the agency’s current efforts and the savings fund for Tier 1 awareness activities in the future.

Place your vote for the monthly budget allocation between the partner agency and save for later, under the pre-approved Marketing DAO Framework and Save for Later proposal!

  • Snapshot Time: September 10, 23:59 UTC time
  • Voting Start: September 11, 00:00 UTC time
  • Voting End: September 16, 23:59 UTC time

The allocation for the previous working period of June 2024 & July 2024 was as follows:

  • ICODA → $17,110
  • Save for later → $16,890

An additional month (August) was needed to efficiently spend the allocated budget (and is still in progress). Since the August budget remains unallocated and unspent, it can be utilized in a later period during HydraGon.

The DAO now has the chance to re-adjust the budget allocation for the months of September & October. For that purpose, simply vote for your preferred marketing option by sending a total of 0.1 HYDRA (Split voting possible) to the respective wallet addresses (during the voting period!) :

Every DAO participant has a total vote of 0.1 HYDRA available, which should be casted to the voting addresses of your favorite agencies (you can split it per your liking, as explained here). The 0.1 HYDRA vote will map your entire voting weight (from the snapshot) proportionally to the agencies.

Based on past results which seem to be working well towards awareness and impressions, I’ve discussed and asked Icoda to prepare and continue working on Telegram AD’s, Banner AD’s on prominent crypto based networks, Re-marketing on Meta & Twitter, along with some PR Media for publication based exposure about the upcoming launch of HydraGon. Icoda will share the plan shortly.

Our primary focus for the upcoming period will be to drive community growth and raise awareness about the Hydrachain and the HydraGon launch.

Key activities include targeted Telegram Ads to grow our subscriber base and a public relations campaign, which will focus on securing publications in Cryptopotato and TheBlock. This will not only build trust but also enhance Hydra’s image in the blockchain community. Additionally, we will run campaigns on crypto networks and remarketing efforts on Meta and Twitter to engage our audience at multiple touchpoints.
